Bustled Dress A bustled dress has a fitted bodice that accentuates the waist, normally with a drop waist, and a very full skirt with gathers in the fabric usually covering the entire skirt. |

Wrap Dress A wrap dress is normally an a-line gown that is fitted through the bust and waist with a wrap of fabric across the front of the gown. It is common for a wrap style to have a split on the front or side of the skirt.

Ball Gown A ball gown has a fitted bodice that accentuates the waist, a defined drop waist and a very full skirt. |
